Chris Ehrmann - When the Detroit Tigers start spring training next year, they will be playing in the newly renovated Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Fla. As part of the $40.8 million redevelopment project, the playing field will be named Publix Field. A plethora of new amenities are being added as well. A $20 million three-story, 78,000-square-foot building will house a new clubhouse, major and minor league administrative offices, player development area with rehabilitation space and hydrotherapy pools.
