The Pistons and the Ilitch-owned Olympia Entertainment made a joint announcement of a 3 p.m. Tuesday press conference featuring Pistons owner Tom Gores, Ilitch Holdings Inc. president and CEO Christopher Ilitch and Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan at Cass Technical High School. A source familiar with the matters said there would also be an announcement of a significant Pistons investment in Detroit "public facilities.
